Mr Alan Barkhan who had previously opened and successfully



managed the Cape Town branch of General Medical Supplies.







For twenty years Mr Barkhan has successfully managed and grown his own business. Initially the business was similar to many other wholesalers, distributing to the medical consumable market. However, with time, we saw the need to become manufacturers, or obtain exclusive distribution of certain key products. In this regard we teamed up with stable, reputable partners to help us accomplish this goal.







From the very beginning Mrs Barkhan supported her husband in running the business and as a woman brought a number of conceptual changes to the market place. In a market where cost was normally considered above everything else, she strove for and initiated a paradigm shift to concentrate on the quality and the user friendliness of products used in the market place.
